The SVEX-T400-Z Explosion Proof Infrared Surveillance Camera for Hazardous Environments is a powerful, industrial-grade monitoring solution designed to deliver clear and dependable surveillance in areas where explosive gases or dust are present. Built with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing and certified to Exd IIC T6 standards, this camera is engineered for continuous operation in oil refineries, chemical plants, gas facilities, and other high-risk industrial zones.

Built Tough for Dangerous Environments

Certified under CNEx16.2528 and compliant with Q/320412ZAF031-2016 standards, this explosion proof infrared surveillance camera is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas areas, as well as explosive dust Zones 21 and 22. Its rugged housing, made from 304 stainless steel, is resistant to corrosion and able to withstand extreme ambient temperatures ranging from -45ºC to +80ºC. With an IP68 ingress protection rating, the camera is fully protected against dust and water, making it ideal for outdoor and offshore use.

Exceptional Infrared Imaging and Zoom Precision

This explosion proof infrared surveillance camera delivers sharp image clarity day and night. Equipped with a 1/3″ interline-transfer CCD image sensor, it provides 700TVL resolution in color and 720TVL in black and white. The camera features infrared lighting that reaches up to 30 meters in complete darkness, enabling reliable night-time monitoring in low-visibility or unlit areas. Its powerful 4–92mm lens supports either 23X or 36X optical zoom, with a minimum working distance of just 10mm for detailed close-ups. A 16X digital zoom function enhances its surveillance range further.

Smart Video Performance and Enhanced Control

This camera’s intelligent imaging system includes features such as:

  • Auto ICR day/night switching

  • Low-light sensitivity (0.04 Lux in color; 0.004 Lux in B&W)

  • 3D digital noise reduction (DNR) for clearer images

  • Auto/manual focus and white balance settings
