Explosion Proof Housings
Veilux explosion-proof camera housings provide ATEX and IECEx-certified enclosures for integrating third-party cameras into Class I Division 1 and Division 2, ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 classified areas. Available in 316L stainless steel for marine and chemical environments, and precision-cast aluminum alloy for general industrial use — with IP66, IP67, and IP68 ingress protection ratings to match your installation conditions.
Housing Product Range
- T100 Series (316L Stainless Steel) — Maximum corrosion resistance for offshore platforms, coastal chemical plants, and food processing. Electropolished interior, NEMA 4X and 6P rated.
- Aluminum Alloy Housings — Lightweight construction for onshore refineries, petrochemical plants, and mining. Powder-coated with chromate conversion primer for corrosion resistance.
- Wide-Angle Housings — Large-aperture domed windows for 180° fisheye and panoramic cameras. Available in stainless steel.
- Compact Housings — Low-profile enclosures for space-constrained installations in pipelines, utility corridors, and enclosed process areas.

Retrofit Compatibility
Veilux housings are designed as open-platform enclosures — they accept industry-standard camera mounting interfaces including 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 thread patterns, allowing integration of cameras from Axis, Bosch, Hanwha, Sony, and other manufacturers. Cable entry points are designed for M20 and M25 Ex-rated cable glands.
